Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Prim Group AB (organisation number 556651-0136), Kiselvägen 8, 506 70 Frufällan, Sweden, handles personal data on lodar.ai and in the Lodar service. Prim Group AB is the controller for the processing described here.

1.What we collect, and why

When you request a free analysis. Your name, work email, company, role (if you give it), your store's address, your e-commerce platform, revenue range, number of products and any message. We use it to reply to you, assess and carry out the analysis, and follow up on it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering requests and developing business relationships.

When you use Lodar. Your name, email, profile picture (if you add one), your workspace membership and role, and a log of actions in the service, such as approved changes. We use it to provide the service, keep accounts secure and give support. Legal basis: performance of the agreement with your employer, and our legitimate interest in running a secure service.

When you email us. Your contact details and what you write, to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling enquiries.

2.Data in customers' stores

The AI shoppers browse our customers' public product pages, and take screenshots of what they see. They do not log in, and do not collect data about the stores' own customers. If personal data still appears in a test, for example in a public review, we process it on behalf of our customer, who is the controller, under our data processing agreement.

3.Cookies

lodar.ai asks before using any cookie that isn't necessary. Necessary cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choice; analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them. You can change your choice any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Your choice is kept for 12 months, then we ask again.

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages are visited, how far people scroll, which buttons they click and whether a free-analysis request is sent. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga) that recognise your browser between visits and stores the data for 14 months. Google may process it in the USA, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We never send Google what you type into our forms. If you withdraw your consent, tracking stops and the cookies are removed.

The Lodar app only uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in, and to remember which workspace you are working in.

4.Who processes the data

We use carefully selected providers to run Lodar. They process personal data only on our behalf, under agreements with us:

  • Cloud hosting, database and file storage providers
  • Providers of the AI models that power the shoppers and suggestions
  • Email and communication tools we use to reply to you

When a customer connects their own systems, such as an e-commerce platform or analytics, data is exchanged with those systems on the customer's instruction. Customers can get the full list of our subprocessors on request, as part of our data processing agreement.

We do not sell personal data, and do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

5.Transfers outside the EU

Some providers process data outside the EU and EEA, mainly in the USA. We then rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it.

6.How long we keep it

  • Free-analysis requests and related correspondence: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
  • Account data: as long as you have access to a workspace, and up to 90 days after it ends.
  • Accounting records: as long as Swedish accounting law requires, currently seven years.

7.Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on our legitimate interest, you may object at any time. Contact us at [email protected] and we will reply within a month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se).

8.Changes

We will update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. See also our terms and conditions.
